Kathy S. Boudreaux

Kathy S. Boudreaux, a founding member of the law firm Smith & Boudreaux, LLC, is a civil litigator with a focus on workers’ compensation, motor vehicle accidents, and premises liability. She has been defending self-insured businesses and insurance companies since graduating law school in 2006 and municipalities and other governmental entities since 2012. She has worked extensively in matters involving insurance defense and governmental liability, including representation of the Lafayette Parish School Board. She has tried several cases to successful conclusion before the 15th Judicial District Court and argued several successful cases before the Louisiana Courts of Appeal. She earned her J.D. and Bachelor of Civil Law from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in 2006 and earned a B. A. in History at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is a member of the Lafayette Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association, and is certified to practice before all Louisiana courts, including the federal district courts and the federal Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal.
